Brother Quintus secretly seeks out the pretty gypsy Agatha in her tent to ask her about his future. Full of eagerness and impatience, the eager witch hunter aspires to a higher office and wants to know when he will finally receive the necessary consecration. In her magic crystal ball, the gypsy recognizes not only Quintu's quest for power, but also his secret carnal desire. With every moment that he sits opposite the charming beauty, his greed to dominate her and use her for his lusts grows. Thus Agatha soon realizes that Quintus' visit is part of her own destiny. In further visions, she sees all the suffering that awaits her in the chamber where Quintus will take her.
